Ryerson University publicó un informe de 2019 titulado, Definiendo “Influshability” para uso de alcantarillado. Esta publicación tenía el objetivo de hacer que el público pensara dos veces sobre lo que arrojas por el inodoro para ahorrar dinero y el medio ambiente. En este experimento probaron 101 productos de un solo uso, algunos etiquetados (y otros no etiquetados) lavables. Algunos de los resultados de esto se pueden ver en la siguiente gráfica:
