La fabricación de América del Norte
Visión general
Para este ejercicio, ten en cuenta que necesitarás haber visto el episodio de NOVA “Making North America: Origins” que está disponible en PBS en línea. Este video revela y resume la historia geológica única y a menudo sorprendente de América del Norte, desde evidencias de vastos mares poco profundos y dunas de arena en Occidente; hasta los restos de una zona de grieta alrededor del Lago Superior donde el continente intentó, sin éxito, romperse; a evidencias dejadas atrás en Central Parque de las majestuosas Montañas Taconicas que alguna vez estuvo donde se encuentra ahora la bulliciosa metrópolis de la ciudad de Nueva York.
Instrucciones
Después de ver el video, elija una de las siguientes preguntas y escriba una respuesta de una a una página y media en función de lo que aprendió de ella (espaciado 1.5, fuente de 12 puntos, sin título ni encabezados). Le invitamos a ampliar sus conocimientos con otras fuentes siempre que incluya una lista de referencia:
