En ANOVA, calculamos la varianza de dos maneras diferentes: El factor cuadrado medio (\(\mathrm{MS}_{F}\)), también conocido como cuadrado medio entre, mide la variabilidad de las medias entre grupos, mientras que el cuadrado medio dentro (\(\mathrm{MS}_{E}\)), también conocido como cuadrado medio dentro, mide la variabilidad dentro de la población. Bajo la hipótesis nula, la relación de\(\mathrm{MS}_{F} / \mathrm{MS}_{E}\) debe ser cercana a 1 y tiene\(\mathrm{F}\) distribución.
Supuestos de modelo
- Las poblaciones que se muestrean se distribuyen normalmente.
- Las poblaciones tienen desviaciones estándar iguales.
- Las muestras se seleccionan al azar y son independientes.
Estadística de prueba
