    Para el resto del curso admitiremos que

    \[
    g_{x}(\mathbf{r})=g_{y}(\mathbf{r})=g_{z}(\mathbf{r}) \equiv g(\mathbf{r}) \notag \]

    Ahora todas las componentes tienen la misma fase, con lo que la fase de la onda armónica queda

    \[
    \text { fase }_{o a}(\mathbf{r}, t)=\omega t-g(\mathbf{r}) \notag \]

    Para un tiempo fijo $t_{0}$ un frente de ondas es el conjunto de puntos del espacio donde la onda tiene la misma fase.

    \[
    \begin{aligned}
    \omega t_{0}-g(\mathbf{r}) &=c t e \\
    g(\mathbf{r})-\omega t_{0}-c t e &=0
    \end{aligned}\]

    Ésta es la ecuación de un sistema de superficies (variando la constante) \({ }^{1}\). Si ahora permitimos la variación del tiempo concluiremos que los frentes de ondas cambian con el tiempo:

    \[
    g(\mathbf{r})+c t e=\omega t_{1} \notag
    \]

    Los frentes de onda se propagan (ver figura 1.2.3.1), lo mismo que se propaga la perturbación, en el espacio y en el tiempo.

    1. Por ejemplo, \( F{r})= cte \) con \(F{r}=x^{2}+y^{2}+z^{2} \) es la ecuación de una foliación del espacio por esferas de radio \(\sqrt{\text { cte. }}\).
