    Este libro consta de 33 simulaciones interactivas que requieren que el lector haga clic en botones, mueva deslizadores, etc. para responder preguntas sobre el comportamiento de las ondas y el sonido en particular. También hay decenas de enlaces a videos de YouTube y otros recursos en línea que pertenecen a los temas que se tratan, así como sugerencias para ejercicios de laboratorio y clips de sonido para comprender el fascinante tema del sonido y la música. El objetivo era crear un texto atractivo que integrara las fortalezas de los libros de texto impresos, estáticos y las dinámicas interactivas posibles con simulaciones para involucrar al estudiante en el aprendizaje activo de la física del sonido.
