Considera una situación paralela: digamos que eres nuevo en el campus y has decidido unirte a una organización para conocer gente. ¿Cómo evalúa qué organización se ajusta mejor a ti? Usted recopila información sobre varias organizaciones haciendo lo siguiente:
- explorar sitios web de clubes, que enumeran eventos sociales y oportunidades de servicio
- platicar con tu asesor, quien identifica actividades que quedarían bien en tu currículum
- llegar a los oficiales del club, que te invitan a sentarte en una reunión y hacer preguntas
Evalúa sus elecciones a la luz de sus propios intereses y metas. Encuentras la organización que más te convenga.
Hacer investigación es similar. Encontrarás muchas fuentes de información, pero algunas encajarán mejor en tu tarea que otras. En esta sección, aprenderá a examinar de cerca sus fuentes utilizando el método C.R.A.A.P para determinar su confiabilidad y utilidad, luego identificar estrategias para incorporar estas fuentes en su propio trabajo.
