    Propósito de la actividad

    • Los estudiantes desarrollarán sus habilidades de escritura y voz de escritura a través de prácticas de escritura de bajo riesgo.

    Instrucciones de actividad

    1. La pregunta del día es parte actividad, parte asignación y parte estrategia de cultura presencial. Está diseñado para alentar a los estudiantes a jugar con el lenguaje y conectarse entre sí a través de la escritura de bajo riesgo.
    2. Todos los días de lunes a viernes, publique una pregunta en el Sistema de Gestión del Aprendizaje. Esto lo hago creando un foro llamado 'Pregunta del día' cada semana, luego configurando publicaciones para ser lanzadas a la medianoche de lunes a viernes.
    3. Los alumnos responden a las preguntas antes del domingo por la noche.
    4. Si responden a alguna pregunta, obtienen 1 punto. Para obtener el 100%, deben responder 40 preguntas por semestre. En un semestre de 13 semanas, esto funciona a poco más de 3 a la semana. Aquí hay algunas preguntas de muestra:
      • ¿Crees en los fantasmas? ¿Por qué o por qué no?
      • ¿Qué es algo que te ha pasado y que crees que no le ha pasado a nadie más en la clase?
      • Da un paseo por tu barrio y escribe sobre algo interesante que viste.
      • Cuéntame de una vez que superaste algo difícil.
    5. Contesto a todas las preguntas, lo que tiende a aumentar la tasa de respuesta.
    6. Hago Pregunta del Día que valga el 5% de su nota, lo que significa que los alumnos pueden optar por no hacerlo sin demasiada penalización.
    7. La clave de la Pregunta del Día es permitir que los estudiantes hablen de su propia vida de una manera segura. Las preguntas no requieren ninguna investigación o conocimiento previo. También deberían ser divertidos. Debido a que no tienen que responder todas las preguntas, los estudiantes pueden evitar responder preguntas que los incomoden. Al final de la semana, respondo algunas respuestas en cada hilo.
