Tienes que ser adaptable a eso. Hay una historia sobre un vaquero que se encuentra con un indígena, y están tratando de llegar juntos a otra ciudad. Estaban usando los recursos del otro para llegar allí, pero no podían comunicarse y hablar el mismo idioma. El vaquero seguía hablando y platicando. El indígena estaba pensando: ¿no pensará que el tipo nunca se callará? No es respetuoso. Nuestros mayores nos enseñaron a escuchar. ¿Por qué sigue y sigue? ¿Por qué no se detiene? El vaquero estaba pensando, este tipo es grosero. No me está contestando. Estoy tratando de ser su amigo, pero apenas habla. Se pueden ver las diferencias en la cultura. Eso se expande alrededor del mundo. Somos una sociedad global y necesitamos ser conscientes de lo que es respetuoso y lo que es un comportamiento irrespetuoso con su audiencia.
El perdón y la comprensión también son importantes, ya que demuestra que te importa lo suficiente como para aprender. Todos están aportando diferentes valores culturales con los que se les ha criado. Cuando comprendes de dónde viene la gente, es más fácil tratar con las personas de tu red. Tienes que adaptarte a diferentes personas.
