- Describir los cuatro tipos de utilidad que proporciona un producto: tiempo, lugar, propiedad y forma.
Una idea se convierte en una oportunidad de negocio cuando tiene potencial comercial, cuando se puede ganar dinero vendiendo el producto. Pero no hace falta decir que no todas las ideas generan oportunidades de negocio. Considera estos productos que hicieron la lista de los “Top 25 Biggest Product Flops of All Time” (WalletPop, 2011):
- Ropa interior Bic. Cuando piensas en Bic piensas en bolígrafos económicos y navajas y encendedores desechables. ¿Pero ropa interior desechable? A las mujeres no les pareció atractiva la idea de comprar vestimenta íntima de un fabricante de bolígrafos, y el factor de desechabilidad era simplemente extraño.
