Ha estado involucrado en el e-learning igual de tiempo, con más de 20 cursos en línea a su nombre. Es el creador de los sistemas de e-learning de código abierto ATutor y aContent, iniciados a finales de la década de 1990, ambos diseñados para modelar la accesibilidad en el aprendizaje en línea. Imparte una variedad de talleres, tanto técnicos como no técnicos, evangelizando el diseño inclusivo como una mejor práctica para construir sistemas informáticos que sean utilizables por todos.
