Implícito en este objetivo es que los dispositivos o redes que funcionan mal no interfieren con la capacidad de los maestros para planificar lecciones ricas en tecnología o con la capacidad de los estudiantes para experimentar esas lecciones. También, implícito en este objetivo es que estos sistemas estén sustentados por los recursos financieros para abastecer a las personas que realizan esta labor.
Contexto para el Objetivo Logístico
Las computadoras y la información almacenada en ellas se han vuelto de misión crítica (disculpe la jerga empresarial) para las escuelas. Sin estos dispositivos, ni los maestros ni los estudiantes pueden lograr lo que deben para lograr metas estratégicas, ni el personal administrativo puede garantizar el buen funcionamiento de la organización. Mientras que “la red bajando” o “las computadoras que se están actualizando” representaron una interrupción menor para generaciones anteriores de educadores, cualquiera de estas situaciones puede causar una interrupción importante hoy en día. Así como la planificación de compras e instalación de dispositivos ya no se puede encargar solo a los profesionales de TI, el diseño e implementación de sistemas de soporte que garanticen una TI adecuada, adecuada y razonable debe ser un esfuerzo de colaboración entre todos los gerentes de TI de la escuela.
