    Programas de Seguridad y Salud Ocupacional

    Casi todos los negocios deben estar registrados en WorkSafeBC y deben tener un programa de salud y seguridad ocupacional (OHS). Las empresas más grandes requieren un programa formal, mientras que las empresas más pequeñas pueden tener un programa menos formal. Independientemente del nivel de formalidad, el propósito del programa es el mismo en cualquier organización.

    Un programa efectivo de OHS:

    • Identificar peligros en el lugar de trabajo
    • Eliminar o minimizar el potencial de lesiones, enfermedades o pérdida de vidas
    • Limitar las pérdidas financieras resultantes de lesiones y enfermedades
    • Ser monitoreado para asegurarse de que cumple con sus objetivos y requisitos de WorkSafeBC
