- “Actual” significa menos de un año, versus “a largo plazo”

La Cuenta de Resultados
- Estado de Ingresos (Sumas) y Gastos (Resta)
- Flujo (imagen en movimiento)
- Acumulativo
- Los números solo suben con el tiempo, excepto los números netos (y los ajustes)
- Para el periodo (trimestre, medio año, tres trimestres, o año completo) que termine...
- La Cuenta de Resultados se cierra al cierre del ejercicio:
- La Adición a las Ganancias Retenidas se pone a cero (adeuda) y se transfiere al Balance General (acreditado) — a Ganancias Retenidas en la sección Patrimonio
- Entonces, todos los números de la Cuenta de Ingresos vuelven a cero; el odómetro vuelve a cero.
- Se puede pensar en la cuenta de resultados como una subparte de la sección de patrimonio del balance.
