El panda come brotes y hojas. A lo mejor una coma está fuera de lugar aquí o allá, pero en la planta cada parte tiene un lugar y función ordenados. Los órganos vegetativos fundamentales (no reproductivos) de la planta son tallos, raíces y hojas. Estos órganos tienen tejidos únicos con arreglos únicos que pueden ser utilizados en la propagación.
