Una de las cosas más importantes que puedes hacer para dar vida a tu escritura para tus lectores es asegurarte de proporcionar muchos ejemplos o detalles de apoyo para explicar las grandes ideas en cada uno de tus párrafos. Por ejemplo, digamos que querías escribir un párrafo que respalde esa declaración de tesis que discutimos anteriormente sobre poseer perros. Recuerde, la declaración de tesis decía “Todos deberían tener un perro porque los perros brindan compañía, brindan protección y brindan un gran entretenimiento”.
Trabajemos en el primer párrafo del cuerpo, el del compañerismo. Sabes que quieres decir que los perros son grandes compañeros. Pero, ¿qué significa eso exactamente? Necesitas agregar detalles para dejar claro tu punto. Entonces, tómate un minuto y haz una lluvia de ideas sobre algunos detalles o ejemplos de formas en las que los perros hacen grandes compañeros. Tal vez tu lista se vería así:
- Te saludamos cuando llegues a casa
- Colas de meneo
- Acuéstese a sus pies cuando esté sentado alrededor de la casa
- Salga a pasear contigo
- Hazte compañía cuando estés enfermo
Esa es una buena lista de algunas de las formas en que los perros brindan compañía. Ahora, tu trabajo es elegir dos o, mejor, tres de los mejores para escribir en ese párrafo. Quieres explicarte un poco sobre cada uno de ellos.
Di que crees que puedes escribir algo bueno sobre los perros que te saludan cuando llegues a casa. Podrías agregar un par de subdetalles a ese detalle. Se podría decir que los perros menean la cola, saltan arriba y abajo, e intentan lamerte las manos o la cara cuando llegues a casa. Podrías explicar que nadie más que un perro está tan emocionado de verte cada vez que vuelves, aunque solo te hayas ido cinco minutos.
