    El objetivo de este texto es introducir la teoría y aplicación práctica del análisis de circuitos eléctricos de CC. El texto comienza con la cobertura de la notación científica y de ingeniería junto con el sistema métrico. También se incluye una discusión sobre el método científico, el sustento de todo nuestro sistema de investigación y tecnología. A partir de ahí, se introducen conceptos básicos y cantidades como carga, corriente, energía, potencia y voltaje. Los capítulos posteriores introducen resistencia, circuitos en serie, circuitos paralelos y circuitos serie-paralelo. El texto continúa con capítulos que cubren teoremas de red, técnicas más avanzadas como el análisis nodal y de malla, y finalmente termina con introducciones a capacitores, inductores y circuitos magnéticos.
