La derivada de la función\(y = f(x)\), denotada como\(f ′ (x)\) o\(dy/dx\), se define como la pendiente de la línea tangente a la curva\(y = f(x)\) en el punto\((x, y)\). Esta pendiente se obtiene por un límite, y se define como \[\label{eq:1}f'(x)=\underset{h\to 0}{\lim}\frac{f(x+h)-f(x)}{h}\]
