    Objetivos del Capítulo

    Al final de este capítulo, los estudiantes deben ser capaces de:

    1. Describir la evidencia más sólida para el modelo de forma reducida que vincula el crecimiento de la oferta monetaria con la inflación.
    2. Explique qué dice el modelo agregado de oferta-demanda agregada (AS-AD), un modelo estructural, sobre el crecimiento de la oferta monetaria y el nivel de precios.
    3. Explique por qué los banqueros centrales permiten que la inflación ocurra año con año.
    4. Definir rezagos y explicar su importancia.
