Rob Stokes obtuvo su título de Ciencias Empresariales en la Universidad de Ciudad del Cabo y es el ganador de Marcadores 2009 por el premio a la Mejor Contribución Individual a Digital. Su Tesis de Honores de Mercadotecnia, que se centró en el tema del email marketing, llevó al desarrollo de la empresa Quirk eMarketing, de la que actualmente es el CEO de. Se le considera especialista en eMarketing y da conferencias sobre Marketing en Internet en la Universidad de Ciudad del Cabo, Red & Yellow School of Advertising y Cape Peninsula University of Technology. También realiza diversos talleres y presentaciones sobre eMarketing en todo el mundo.
