Propiedades Físicas del Agua
El agua es un líquido estructurado. Sus propiedades físicas únicas provienen de su red de enlaces de hidrógeno.
- En promedio, cada molécula puede donar dos enlaces de hidrógeno y aceptar dos enlaces de hidrógeno.
- Las interacciones con enlaces de hidrógeno fuertes (HB) dan direccionalidad preferencial a lo largo de la orientación tetraédrica.
- Gran variación en distancias y ángulos HB.
- Las correlaciones estructurales duran aproximadamente 1—2 conchas de solvente, o <1 nm.
