- A diferencia del cáncer glótico, los cánceres de hipofaringe tienen una alta propensión a
- Metástasis nodales cervicales ocultas
- Metástasis ganglionar paratraqueales (Nivel VI)
- Metástasis nodales bilaterales
- T1 (la mayoría) y T2-4 clínicamente cuello N0
- Disección electiva del cuello Niveles II— IV
- Nivel VI (nódulos pre y paratraqueales). ... requiere lobectomía tiroidea
- SND contralateral Niveles II— IV
- Pared medial de fosa piriforme/pliegue ariepiglótico
- Postcricoide
- Pared faríngea posterior
- Convertir a MND si hay nodos sospechosos en el cuello (+/- sección congelada)
- Nivel VI (nódulos pre y paratraqueales) con extensión subglótica o extensión a fosa piriforme... requiere lobectomía tiroidea
- Clínicamente cuello N+
- Disección radical modificada del cuello (MND)/Disección radical del cuello (RND)
- FIN CONTRALATERAL Niveles II— IV
- Pared medial de fosa piriforme/pliegue ariepiglótico
- Postcricoide
- Pared faríngea posterior
