Los trolls en los letreros de Pat Edmundson, como este para el restaurante local A&W, fueron recordatorios humorísticos de la identidad noruega de la comunidad. En esta señal, un troll se equilibra sobre un perrito caliente horizontal largo con un cono de helado de vainilla precariamente encaramado en la punta de su zapato puntiagudo. Un plato de ensalada está a punto en el otro pie vuelto hacia arriba y una hamburguesa y un vaso de cerveza raíz A&W descansan en sus manos. El troll luce el icónico jersey naranja A&W.
