Los recursos educativos abiertos (REA) son materiales didácticos gratuitos y (re) distribuibles. Este sitio es un auspiciado por la Biblioteca Ursula Schwerin para seleccionar y curar recursos para su uso en Biología General 1. Esto se extendió para incluir Biología Molecular y Celular a través de la Beca Título V del Departamento de Educación de Estados Unidos, “A Living Lab”. Este sitio fue originalmente escrito y comisariado por Jeremy Seto, Departamento de Ciencias Biológicas — New York City College of Technology.
