    La República de Platón es uno de los textos clásicos de entrada al estudio y la práctica de la filosofía, y es justamente el tipo de libro que ha podido detener y reorientar vidas. Cómo ha podido hacer esto, y si va a poder hacerlo o no en tu propio caso, es algo que solo puedes descubrir por ti mismo. La presente guía tiene como objetivo ayudar a una persona a adentrarse bastante, con bastante rapidez, en el proyecto. Divide el diálogo en 96 secciones y proporciona comentarios sobre cada sección así como preguntas para la reflexión y exploración. Se organiza con una tabla de contenido y se cosida junto con un sistema de navegación de marcadores. En todo momento se utilizan enlaces a sitios externos como la Biblioteca Clásica Perseo. Este libro es adecuado para cursos universitarios o estudios independientes.
