Este texto pretende apoyar cursos que superen la brecha entre las matemáticas que suelen encontrarse en los planes de estudios de secundaria de Estados Unidos y los problemas prácticos con los que los estudiantes de recursos naturales podrían involucrarse en sus cursos disciplinarios y pasantías profesionales.
