comunicador El individuo, grupo u organización que necesita o quiere compartir información con otra persona, grupo u organización.

decodificar Interpretar y comprender y dar sentido a un mensaje.

codificación Traducir un mensaje a símbolos o lenguaje que un receptor pueda entender.

rol de figura Un rol necesario para un directivo que quiera inspirar a las personas dentro de la organización a sentirse conectadas entre sí y con la institución, apoyar las políticas y decisiones tomadas en nombre de la organización, y trabajar más duro por el bien de la institución.

interacción atención/ participación de la interacción Una medida de cómo el receptor de un mensaje está prestando mucha atención y está alerta u observador.

ruido Cualquier cosa que interfiera con el proceso de comunicación.

receptor El individuo, grupo u organización a la que se destina la información.
