- 1: Elementos Clave de la Química Verde
- La química verde es un campo floreciente de conciencia química alzada que vio su inicio en ~1990 a través de esfuerzos encabezados por Paul Anastas y John Warner. En efecto, el siglo XX fue una época magníficamente fértil para el curso del logro humano que encarnaba el tajín pegadizo modificado de clase de DuPont: “Vivir mejor a través de la química”.
- 3: Peligros
- Este capítulo centra nuestra atención en la importancia esencial de la química verde: la necesidad de abordar de manera segura y satisfactoria los peligros. Los peligros son ubicuos en relación con nuestras experiencias como seres humanos. No se localizan en molinos, fábricas, basureros y arenas de hockey (tenga en cuenta un intento de humor debilitado). Como especie, a menudo intentamos restar importancia a su papel en el gobierno de nuestro comportamiento, pero ninguna empresa humana está libre de tal exención. - 4: Solventes Alternativos
- Este capítulo centra nuestra atención en la preeminencia de los solventes alternativos. Los temas tratados incluyen los siguientes: Sustancias auxiliares, Estado de transición, Reacción Michael, Fresado de bolas, Polimerización por injerto, Fluidos supercríticos Intentamos asegurar que su importancia para el campo de la química verde sea bien dilucidada debido a su naturaleza universal en química, biología y ingeniería.
- 5: Reagants alternativos
- Este capítulo centra nuestra atención en la preeminencia de reactivos alternativos que suplantan a los reactivos derivados del petróleo. Los principios generales de GC cubiertos en este capítulo son 2 (síntesis baja o nula de sustancias tóxicas), 7 (materias primas sustentables) y 10 (biodegradabilidad). Los temas tratados incluyen: Reactivos, resina de intercambio iónico, química combinatoria, ciclodextrinas, entrega patenteral. Como indicamos para los solventes, nuevamente intentamos asegurar su significación.
- 6: Tipos de reacción, diseño y eficiencia
- Este capítulo centra nuestra atención en los tipos de reacciones más verdes relevantes para este curso y cómo y por qué son relevantes para nosotros. Los temas tratados incluyen: Reordenamiento, Resonancia, Estructuras canónicas, Rendimiento y Especificidad. Nos centraremos en una variedad de reacciones cuyo carácter esté en línea con los dos primeros principios GC (prevenir el desperdicio y maximizar la incorporación de todos los materiales en el producto final).
