Los entornos de aprendizaje enriquecidos con una variedad de actividades mejoran el aprendizaje y el desarrollo de los niños pequeños. En un entorno en el que los niños tienen la oportunidad de hacer observaciones, hacer preguntas, planificar investigaciones, recopilar e interpretar información y comunicar hallazgos e ideas (CDE 2012b, 53), exploran conceptos en dominios como ciencias, matemáticas e historia– Ciencias Sociales. La danza, la música y el drama no solo introducen a los niños a las artes y les permiten explorar procesos creativos, sino que también les brindan oportunidades para que aprendan a regular su comportamiento y tomar la perspectiva de otra persona.[1]
