    Este es el primero de una serie de capítulos sobre electricidad y magnetismo. Gran parte de ella estará dirigida a un nivel introductorio adecuado para alumnos de primer o segundo año, o quizás algunas partes también puedan ser útiles a nivel de preparatoria. Ocasionalmente, como me siento inclinado, iré un poco más allá de un nivel introductorio, aunque el texto no será suficiente para quien persiga la electricidad y el magnetismo en una clase de honores de tercer o cuarto año. Por otra parte, los alumnos que se embarquen en esas clases avanzadas serán bien aconsejados para conocer y comprender el contenido de estas notas más elementales antes de comenzar.
