Kubrick estaba fascinado por esta historia e intentó convertirla en una película, pero murió antes de que se hiciera. Steven Spielberg retomó el proyecto y AI: Inteligencia Artificial salió en 2001. Como nota, si no quieres un spoiler NO leas el Publisher Publisher en la parte superior de la página, desplácese hacia abajo hasta obtener la primera línea “En el jardín de la señora Swinton...”.
