Este libro está destinado a una introducción semestral al álgebra abstracta. Suponemos que los estudiantes tienen cierta familiaridad con la teoría básica de conjuntos álgebra lineal y cálculo. Pero muy poco de esta naturaleza será necesario En gran medida el curso es autónomo salvo por el requerimiento de cierta cantidad de madurez matemática. Y ojalá que el nivel de madurez matemática del alumno aumente a medida que avanza el curso.
