Este libro está escrito para estudiantes que han tomado cálculo y quieren aprender qué es la “matemática real”. Esperamos que encuentre el material atractivo e interesante, y que se le anime a aprender matemáticas más avanzadas. Esta es la segunda edición de nuestro texto. Está dirigido a estudiantes que hayan cursado un curso de cálculo, y estén interesados en aprender de qué se trata la matemática superior. Se puede utilizar como libro de texto para un curso de “Introducción a las Pruebas”, o para el autoestudio.
