Este texto trata del álgebra matricial, a diferencia del álgebra lineal. Sin argumentar semántica, veo el álgebra matricial como un subconjunto de álgebra lineal, enfocado principalmente en conceptos básicos y técnicas de solución. Hay poco desarrollo formal de la teoría y se evitan los conceptos abstractos. Esto es afín a que el maestro carpintero enseñe a su aprendiz a usar un martillo, una sierra y un avión antes de enseñarle a hacer un gabinete.
