- 0.1: Números
- Antes de hacer otra cosa, es muy importante que estemos de acuerdo en las definiciones y nombres de algunas colecciones importantes de números.
- 0.2: Sets
- Todos ustedes habrán hecho algunos bits básicos de teoría de conjuntos en la escuela. Conjuntos, intersección, uniones, diagramas de Venn etc etc La teoría de conjuntos ahora aparece tan a fondo a lo largo de las matemáticas que es difícil imaginar cómo las Matemáticas podrían haber existido sin ella.
- 0.3: Otros conjuntos importantes
- Hemos visto algunos conjuntos importantes arriba —es decir\(\mathbb{N}, \mathbb{Z}, \mathbb{Q}\) y\(\mathbb{R}\text{.}\) Sin embargo, posiblemente el conjunto más importante en matemáticas es el conjunto vacío.

- Ahora que hemos revisado ideas básicas sobre sets podemos empezar a hacer cosas más interesantes con ellos — funciones.
