    Enseñar el curso de gestión estratégica puede ser un reto para muchos profesores. En la mayoría de las escuelas de negocios, la gestión estratégica es un curso “culminante” que requiere que los estudiantes aprovechen los conocimientos de diversos cursos funcionales que hayan completado (como marketing, finanzas y contabilidad) para comprender cómo los altos ejecutivos toman las decisiones estratégicas que impulsan si las organizaciones triunfar o fallar. Aunque los estudiantes han tomado estos cursos funcionales, muchos estudiantes tienen muy poca experiencia con las principales opciones organizacionales. Es esta inexperiencia la que puede socavar el compromiso de muchos estudiantes en el curso.
