Solo se requieren imágenes si pueden cambiar la administración
Imagenología de Primaria
- T1/T2
- Minoría requiere imágenes
- Considerar para tumores de comisura anterior si le preocupa la invasión del cartílago tiroideo
- T3/4
- CT/MRI rara vez es útil si se planifica una laringectomía total
- CT/MRI recomendada si se considera quimiorradioterapia o laringectomía parcial
- Cartílago tiroides
- Extensión paraglotica
- Estadificación de los nódulos
- Si se considera radiación primaria: Ultrasonido, TC o MRI de laringe para excluir la invasión del cartílago tiroideo
Metástasis cervicales
- Cuello N0: No es necesario tomar imágenes si se planifica una disección electiva del cuello o para cánceres glóticos T1/2
- Cuello N+: Imagen (U/S o CT) si le preocupa la resecabilidad
Metástasis distantes: CXR /TC de tórax: T3/4 cánceres glóticos
Primaria sincrónica: tórax CXR/TC
