- 2.4: Interacción de la radiación con la materia biológica
- Cuando los rayos X o los rayos gamma interactúan con el tejido humano, debemos considerar los mecanismos de interacción que tienen lugar, y cuál es el detrimento para el tejido. Para iniciar esa conversación, debemos sentar algunos trabajos de base para la discusión. Esto incluye, entre muchas cosas, el entendimiento de que el tejido humano está compuesto por muchos millones de células, que contienen compuestos orgánicos e inorgánicos compuestos por agua, minerales, proteínas, ácidos nucleicos y lípidos.
