Este libro introduce conceptos de robótica móvil autónoma a estudiantes de 3º a 4º curso de Ciencias de la Computación o una disciplina afín. El libro abarca principios de movimiento de robots, cinemática hacia adelante e inversa de brazos robóticos y plataformas de ruedas simples, percepción, propagación de errores, localización y localización y mapeo simultáneos. La imagen de portada muestra un juguete de enrollamiento que es lo suficientemente inteligente como para no caerse de una mesa solo usando un diseño de mecanismo inteligente e ilustrar la importancia del mecanismo en el diseño de sistemas inteligentes y autónomos.
