    La Comunicación Técnica Abierta es un libro de texto en línea de libre acceso para comunicación técnica, redacción técnica, escritura laboral y otros cursos relacionados. Actualmente en su tercera versión, ha tenido una historia interesante. En 2015, la Dra. Tamara Powell de la Universidad Estatal de Kennesaw nos reunió, un equipo de colegas de ideas afines, para desarrollar un Recurso Educativo Abierto que nos permitiría alejarnos de un libro de texto muy respetado pero muy caro y hacia algo igualmente valioso pero más asequible para estudiantes.
