    En este texto, aprenderá sobre las relaciones de fase aplicadas a los procesos de yacimientos de petróleo y/o gas, recuperación mejorada de petróleo, transporte por gasoductos, procesamiento y licuefacción de gas natural, y otros problemas en la producción de petróleo. El objetivo principal del curso es aplicar la termodinámica del equilibrio de fase al marco para el modelado del comportamiento de fase de fluidos petrolíferos. El enfoque del curso estará en la termodinámica de equilibrio y su relevancia para las predicciones de comportamiento de fase y la descripción de datos de equilibrio de fase. Intentaremos aplicar principios de comportamiento de fase a los procesos de producción de petróleo de interés práctico, especialmente a los sistemas de condensado de gas natural.
