El maestro le dijo al alumno: “Haz la siguiente división:\( 12 \div 3\).”
El estudiante respondió: “Pero no sé cómo dividir”.
Entonces el maestro preguntó: “¿Sabes restar?”
El alumno respondió: “Claro, eso es fácil”.
Entonces el maestro dijo: “Bueno, entonces, se puede dividir. ¡Solo cuenta cuántos tres puedes restar de doce!”
El estudiante se maravilló de esta noción. El alumno simplemente notó que 3 podían restarse cuatro veces de 12, y respondió: “¿Es\( 12 \div 3\) igual a 4?”
El maestro dijo: “¡Sí! Sabía que podías dividir. Estoy muy orgulloso de ti”.
El alumno también estaba orgulloso... y muy feliz.
