La hidrofosfonilación de aldehídos e iminas brinda una vía efectiva para la formación de enlaces C-P. Recientemente, se ha demostrado la reacción de fosfato cíclico con iminas cíclicas empleando (S) -YbPb quiral bimetálico con excelente enantioselectividad (Esquema\(\PageIndex{1}\)).
