Apariencia:
Múltiples gránulos azul-púrpura oscuro que se distribuyen por todo el glóbulo rojo. Los gránulos pueden aparecer gruesos, finos, redondos y/o de forma irregular, y están presentes en numerosos números. 1,2 Por lo general, solo se reporta el salpicado basofílico grueso.
