Diferenciación de Sumas y Diferencias
Aquí están las reglas de diferenciación para la suma y diferencia de dos funciones:
\[\frac{d}{dx}[f(x)+g(x)]= \frac{d}{dx}[f(x)]+ \frac{d}{dx}ddx[g(x) \nonumber\]
y
\[\frac{d}{dx}[f(x)−g(x)]=\frac{d}{dx}[f(x)]−\frac{d}{dx}[g(x)] \nonumber\]
En notación más simple\[(f±g)′=f′±g′ \nonumber\]
El uso de las propiedades de límite de capítulos anteriores debería permitirle averiguar por qué se aplican estas reglas de diferenciación.
A menudo es necesario aplicar varias reglas para encontrar la derivada de una función. Para encontrar la derivada de f (x) =3x 2 +2x, es necesario aplicar la fórmula suma de derivados y la regla de potencia:
\[\frac{d}{dx}3x^2+2x]=\frac{d}{dx}[3x^2]+\frac{d}{dx}[2x] \nonumber\]
=\[3 \frac{d}{dx}[x^2]+2 \frac{d}{dx}[x] \nonumber\]
=\[3[2x]+2[1] \nonumber\]
=\[6x+2 \nonumber\]

Ejemplo 1
Anteriormente, se le pidió que hiciera una predicción para la suma y diferencias de derivatves.
En un concepto anterior, aprendiste que si existen los límites:
\[ \displaystyle \lim_{x \to a} [f(x)±g(x)] = \lim_{x \to a} f(x)± \lim_{x \to a} g(x), \nonumber\]
Dado que la derivada de una función está definida por un límite, ddx [f (x) ±g (x)] se definiría por límite aplicado a [f (x) ±g (x)]. Elaborar los detalles para ver que las reglas anteriores tienen sentido.
Ejemplo 2
Dado: t (x) =x−1, qué es dt/dx cuando x=0
Por la regla de diferencia:
\[ (x−1)′=(x)′−(1)′=0 \nonumber\]
\[x′=1 \nonumber\]... Por la regla del poder
\[1′=0 \nonumber\]... La derivada de una constante = 0
Entonces cuando evaluamos esto en x=0, obtenemos 1, ya que\[1−0=1 \nonumber\]
Ejemplo 3
Encuentra la derivada:\[ f(x)=x^3−5x^2 \nonumber\]
Usa las reglas de diferencia y poder para ayudar a:
\[ \frac{d}{dx}[x^3−5x^2]=\frac{d}{dx}[x^3]−5\frac{d}{dx}[x^2] \nonumber\]
\[ =3x^2−5[2x] \nonumber\]
\[ =3x^2−10x \nonumber\]
Ejemplo 4
Dado\[ a(x)=−\pi x^{−0.54}+6x^4 \nonumber\] Lo que es\[\frac{d}{dx}a(x)? \nonumber\]
Usaremos las reglas de suma y poder:
\[ \frac{d}{dx}(−\pi x^{−0.54}+6x^4)=\frac{d}{dx}(−\pi x^{−0.54}+\frac{d}{dx}(6x^4) \nonumber\]... Por la regla de la suma
\[= -\pi \frac{d}{dx}(x^{−0.54})+6 \frac{d}{dx}(x^4) \nonumber\]... Por la Constante - función Regla del producto
\[=0.54 \pi x^{−1.54}+24x^3 \nonumber\]... Por la regla del poder
