Un conocimiento básico de teoría de conjuntos, inducción matemática, relaciones de equivalencia y matrices es imprescindible. Aún más importante es la capacidad de leer y comprender pruebas matemáticas. En este capítulo vamos a esbozar los antecedentes necesarios para un curso de álgebra abstracta.
