Conclusión para el multilingüismo
El reconocimiento del valor y los beneficios de criar niños multilingües está creciendo aquí en Estados Unidos. Desafortunadamente, muchos conceptos erróneos sobre el multilingüismo continúan persistiendo y la mayoría de los programas de cuidado infantil basados en centros son predominantemente ingleses. Sin embargo, hay muchas estrategias que los cuidadores pueden usar para apoyar el desarrollo de las lenguas patrimoniales y el inglés que ayudan a establecer una base sólida para los resultados lingüísticos, lectoescritura, cognitivos y académicos posteriores.
