Este cofre, fechado en 1821, fue llevado a “Madison:Visskonsin” por S.A. Bolstad quien rotuló a mano su nombre y destino en el panel posterior. Aunque poco se sabe sobre Bolstad, sí sabemos que esta pieza fue uno de los primeros muebles adquiridos para la atracción turística local Little Norway. El diseño rosmaled en el pecho, atribuido al artista Per Lysne, probablemente se agregó en el momento de esa adquisición. La pequeña Noruega exhibió el cofre por más de 80 años.
