    En conclusión, en este capítulo hemos revisado las principales diferencias individuales que afectan las actitudes y comportamientos de los empleados. Nuestros valores y personalidad explican nuestras preferencias y las situaciones con las que nos sentimos cómodos. La personalidad puede influir en nuestro comportamiento, pero no se debe descuidar la importancia del contexto en el que ocurre el comportamiento. Muchas organizaciones utilizan pruebas de personalidad en la selección de empleados, pero el uso de tales pruebas es polémico debido a problemas como la fingir y el bajo valor predictivo de la personalidad para el desempeño laboral. La percepción es cómo interpretamos nuestro entorno. Es una gran influencia sobre nuestro comportamiento, pero muchos sesgos sistemáticos colorean nuestra percepción y conducen a malentendidos.
