Las α-aciloxicetonas son compuestos que se someten a reemplazo del grupo acilooxi por un átomo de hidrógeno al reaccionar con hidruro de tri- n - butilestaño. Las reacciones de estos compuestos se discuten en la Sección II.A del Capítulo 8 junto con otras reacciones de ésteres de ácido carboxílico.
