14.2 Textura coral

Las texturas corales son aquellas en las que hay un acorde para cada (o casi todas) notas de melodía. Un ejemplo familiar de textura coral es el “Estrella-Spangled Banner”.

En el siguiente ejemplo de Schubert, la melodía a veces se mueve en un ritmo ligeramente diferente al de los acordes de abajo.

Las texturas corales también se describen como “homorrítmicas” porque todas las partes se mueven al mismo ritmo.
